Ingredients

  • 500 g steak or tenderloin
  • Half a teaspoon of Zer salt
  • Half a teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1 clove of garlic (crushed)
  • 2 tablespoons Zer tomato paste
  • 1 dessertspoon Zer grape vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons Zer olive oil
  • 1 sprig of fresh thyme
  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1.5 cups Zer sunflower oil (for frying)
  • 1 tablespoon Zer garlic sauce (optional)

Preparation

  1. Preparing the meat: Cut the steak or tenderloin into thin slices. In a bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, chopped onion, crushed garlic, Zer tomato paste, Zer grape vinegar and Zer olive oil, then marinate the meat in this mixture. Rest for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. Frying the potatoes: Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices. Heat the Zer sunflower oil in a wide pan. Add the potato slices and fry until golden. Transfer them onto paper towels to drain the excess oil.
  3. Cooking the meat: Cook the marinated meat in a pan over high heat until both sides are seared. Add the fresh thyme and rosemary while cooking so the aroma infuses.
  4. Serving: Arrange the fried potatoes on the serving plate first, then place the cooked meat on top. If you like, finish with Zer garlic sauce. Serve with yoghurt or salad on the side.

Enjoy your meal!
